Having acquired this large home, our clients were planning major works and their insurance had various conditions which needed to be met. We worked closely with their insurance broker to make all necessary arrangements, from installing a leak detection system to introducing an arborist from our trusted network to conduct a tree survey of every tree and shrub over four metres high.

In addition, we managed and oversaw the setup of our clients’ utilities, the installation of a security alarm system and put in place regular maintenance contracts for the house, including fortnightly gardener visits and annual boiler servicing.

As the property progressed through its works, we worked closely with the developer to oversee a comprehensive handover, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to a lived-in home. This included managing all snagging items, coordinating final adjustments and taking a hands-on role in every detail of the process.

Alongside this, we oversaw our clients’ full relocation from their existing residence, managing the house move end-to-end and ensuring everything was unpacked, set up and ready for their arrival.

Now that our clients are settled into their new home, Eccord continues to manage the property on an ongoing basis, providing proactive oversight, trusted contractor coordination and the day-to-day support needed to ensure their home is cared for and running smoothly.
