Our clients had spent 26 years in their family home and, with little previous experience of renting or moving, needed support managing the transition into their newly renovated home.

We planned and executed the entire four-day move, carefully coordinating the right moving firm and overseeing each stage to ensure the process was as seamless and stress-free as possible.

This included arranging for the kitchen to be packed on the first day and unpacked in the new home, allowing the family to return home for dinner that evening with everything they needed in place.

Alongside the move itself, we coordinated a charity collection, arranged the end-of-tenancy clean and redecoration works, including filling holes where artwork had been hung, and managed the shutdown of all utilities.We also attended the property with the inventory clerk at the end of the tenancy, collected and returned the client’s internet equipment to their broadband provider, and oversaw the final details on their behalf.

With no previous experience of managing a move or tenancy handover, our clients were able to leave their former home and settle into their new one with minimal disruption and complete peace of mind.
