Our American asset manager client approached us after we were recommended by a colleague. He was being relocated from New York by his firm to open a London office and was looking for support with the move.
His priority was to be in Hampstead Village, within walking distance from both his children’s school and the tube.
Whilst Hampstead village is notorious for having a significant lack of rental stock, we were able to source one apartment through our network which had not yet been launched to the market.
Our clients loved the property – they had viewed numerous properties ahead of engaging us, and none compared.
We leveraged our reputation and our clients’ profile to enable them to view ahead of anyone else and have first refusal, thereby preventing competition that would likely have pushed the rent level beyond their affordability. We were also able to negotiate the rent to within their budget and agree a tenancy length to guarantee him the property for the entirety of his assignment in London.
They have now moved in and are looking forward to enjoying the apartment and life in Hampstead Village.
